GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR SUMMARY:

The Sales Representative is responsible for establishing long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. This role is to oversee a portfolio of customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Present, promote and sell PRESS GLASS products to existing and prospective customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the market’s potential, track sales and status reports

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATIONAL SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree (Technical College preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience as sales representative in construction industry (glass industry preferred) substitute for educational requirement
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects, while maintaining attention to detail
