Meritus Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Hagerstown, Maryland. Offering over 300 beds and the most advanced technologies available.

 Press Glass manufactured 35,000 square feet of custom insulating glass units for the building’s curtain wall featuring three elevations of windows fitted with Guardian SunGuard SNX62/27HT and accented by metal panels and structural glazing. The low-e coating enhances the solar management to improve thermal performance while maximizing natural light throughout patient care areas.

The architectural glazing contributes to the facility’s modern exterior while helping reduce energy consumption, enhance occupant comfort, and support long-term building performance. This project demonstrates how advanced architectural glass solutions can improve both healthcare environments and building sustainability.
